Well the world may be coming to an end.  Apparently the KKK has more decency than the folks at Westboro Baptists Church.  While I am not totally surprised, I do find it one of the most ironic things that I have seen, that when the WBC shows up to protests a function that the President is speaking at the Klan of all people show up to show support for his address to the fallen soldiers, and counterprotests these loonies.

Clipped to the Westboro Baptist ABOMINATION!

Not surprising, the Klan has stated it did not want to be associated with the Wesboro "baptist church", or the tea party. Just a couple of groups to extreme for even the klan.

Thanks. I did not know that they were against the Tea Party. Now that is really bad, but since most people in the South are Democrats Locally it is not surprising. Ironically, they tend to vote Democrat in State and Republican for President. Weird trend if you ask me.

but since most people in the South are Democrats

?¿? Not for 50+ years they haven't been?¿? I think you may be confused.

If you look at almost every Southern State they have had more Democrats than Republicans in Office. Most of them had Democrats up until this last election. Alabama has had less than 5 Republicans since being a state, Georgia, and Mississippi as well. It is actually pretty lopsided.

Nice refrence StevieGee. I was not aware of that term. Looked it up, and that actually helps to clear things up. In State they would be Democrat, but Nationally their views are more like Republucans, thus the Red State labels. Got it.

Not really sure who to support on this one. Too bad it couldn't end in a gunfight.

I know. With these two groups, you would have to applaud the KKK's action, but still denounce their rhetoric and hate.

My mind is REELING RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! You have got to be ONE @!$%#ED UP ORGANIZATION for you to stir the ire of the KKK given "THEIR" track history!!!!

Am I hallucinating, OR did I see a KLANSMAN hand a American Flag to a female, African American(?) USAF Colonel, AND SAY "THANK YOU" TO HER?!?!?!?!?!?!?

No, that actually happened. It was a WTF moment for me as well. Maybe if you turn the lights off it has glowing marker on it that says, "Die ______er! or something." I was amazingly shocked at their actions.

Any group is "better" than Westboro. Those idiots gave up their right to free speech when that free speech infringed on the rights of families to have quiet funerals for their loved ones. Funerals are stressful enough; having these idiots protesting something that has nothing to do with with anything except their twisted ideas causes unnecessary emotional harm and creates additional stress for the mourners.

"Free speech" has its limits- your "rights" aren't allowed to cause harm to others. Period.

They were calling Billy Graham a Faggot and said he was going to hell in their documentary. Apparently they hate everyone. I am appauled by these people.
